Almost five years ago, after returning home to Pontiac, MI, Ivan envisioned a space where his love for coffee and art could merge—a place that not only fueled creativity but also provided a platform to support and showcase other artists. That dream is now becoming a reality with El Piqasso Art Café | Gallery, a unique, creative hub located in the heart of downtown Pontiac.
He envisions this space to be more than just a coffee shop or gallery—it’s a movement to cultivate an artistic culture where people can connect, create, and celebrate the beauty of art, in all its forms.
The Studio
In addition to launching the café, he will continue to run El Piqasso Studio, a dedicated creative space for art sessions, classes and personal artistic exploration. His mission has been consistent towards building a lane for the arts in his city, creating opportunities for artists to thrive and for the community to engage with diverse artistic expressions.
As a proud member of the Pontiac Arts Commission, he is committed to leaving a lasting imprint—not just in the arts but in the lives of those around him. Through his work, Ivan hopes to inspire, uplift, and contribute to a flourishing creative scene that Pontiac can be proud of. This is just the beginning and he looks forward to growing alongside the artists and community that make this journey so meaningful.
